what she needs

I have been amazed at how well the kids have done with Shane being gone.  I've also been amazed at how much they talk about him and miss him.  It should make him feel like a proud daddy for investing so much in their lives.  The kids have different times of the day that they miss their daddy.  For Carson, it's bedtime.  This is the only part of they day (typically!) that she melts down.  She doesn't want me to sing, tuck her in, or read to her.........she wants daddy.  We put a frame in her bed, but "It scwatch me when i'm trying to sleep."  So, we found some special pictures and put them  where she can see them....even if it's at 2:30 am.
