90 years

Mema turned 90 this week and we celebrated big time today with at least 100 of her favorite people. It was truly awesome to see how many people love her by coming by today for cake, ice cream, and big Mema hugs! (and smooches to her favorite Doctor!) Mema smiled ear to ear the entire day.
As I was taking pictures during her special day, it was so neat to sit back and think about 90 years of building relationships. She had so many family members and friends there from all areas of her life. She was moved to tears almost every single time a new face walked through the door. Just as excited each & every time. She is one lucky lady and so are we because we get to call her "Mema."
Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the day. I only took 400+! We are going to put them all in a book for her to keep.

what great pictures. my grandad turned 90 last June and it is truly amazing to see and hear all that man has endured, weathered, survived and grown. we are blessed to have folks like them around.
what a special day for Mema. so glad we could be there to help her celebrate and know that she's a rare jewel!
